King Ludwig II's life and death is a mystery often discussed in the town I grew up in, and only a few facts are known for certain. Fact number one: Ludwig adored Richard Wagner. Adored him so much that he showered him in love letters and money. Fact number two: Richard Wagner knew about this. Fact number three: Ludwig was found in the lake after he died, in a spot not far from where he used to meet with his cousin, and in a spot where it is near impossible to drown on accident.
